An Oregon native, Alex has over 12 years of experience on a wide range of design projects.  As a project manager, Alex has participated in all aspects of the design process, from initial client meetings to final inspection and project handoff.  His commitment to client involvement and attention to detail has assisted him in creating compelling designs at all scales. With experience in public process, design workshops, and community engagement, Alex is well versed in adapting client and end-user input into the design process, while coordinating with other design professionals and municipalities.

With an emphasis on 3D modeling and visual representation, Alex helps bring a dynamic and accessible approach to any project.  His experience in construction, and involvement with schematic design, design development, and construction documentation, ensure that any project is developed holistically at all stages.

In addition to his 12 years of professional experience, Alex instructed for five years at the University of Oregon’s College of Design, where he developed and taught several design courses.  He continues to participate in guest lectures and design reviews.

With a distinctive understanding of plant materials and environmental needs, Alex’s love for the Pacific Northwest has inspired and informed his approach to regional design.
