This classic campus quad was created to bring functionality and beauty to a derelict and dysfunctional area of the Atlanta Metro College campus. Awkward walkways and elevation changes gave way to direct building access routes providing universal access for all. Student gathering plazas with upgraded paving materials and vibrant landscapes complete the scene. The quad was immediately embraced by the AMC community and is now considered the heart of the campus. Satre Group Principal John Anderson acted as Principal in Charge for this project, providing campus design and landscape design services as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
