Providing land use planning and landscape architecture services for the project, The Satre Group assisted the property owner with land use approval, master planning and overall site design for a six-acre two tax lot multi-family development on the north edge of town. Comprised of 20 three-story buildings, with 148 dwelling units overall, the unit mix ranged from one-bedroom flats to two- and three-bedroom townhomes. Designed as a public street, the main entrance drive aisle includes raised crosswalks and parking in discrete parallel bays, all sheltered with an alee of shade trees. All told, the project resulted in vibrant new housing for Junction City. Country Crossroads is a development focused on resident amenities and walkability. Water features and vibrant landscape materials set the tone for a desirable place to live.
Country Crossroads received the commercial project design award in the 2021 People’s Choice Design Awards Program.
